What can I expect at a dyno session?
If you are bringing your vehicle to us, we will use the dyno to test the maximum horsepower through a series of progressive dyno tests or "runs". These tests will start out light and progress from there. We will be monitoring your vehicle for any signs of stress or issues and if we feel based on our experience that the testing may be harmful, we will not continue.
If your vehicle is 1996 and newer with the factory computer, make sure you know where the OBDII port is located.
If your vehicle is equipped with ABS and/or traction control make sure you know how to disable those. If your vehicle is equipped with all-wheel drive, make sure you know how to disable that as well. Sometimes disabling these features requires pulling fuses from the fuse box. If that is the case, make sure you know how to locate them.
